I want to thank Frank and his staff for a great set of plans as they were thorough and understandable. If I needed clarification Frank was right there to help and guide me. I am not at the point of completion as I am at the mercy of my fabricators workload but things are starting to come together nicely. It takes a bit of patience in Thailand as there is an English speaking problem so I have to have my wife interpret or translate in some cases but the metrication was understandable and appropriate.
All in all it’s been a very pleasant experience working with Smoke Builders and highly recommend them. I will have to have this fabricated totally here in Thailand with my supervision but trust me it will fun doing it and save substantial money. Having it fabricated outside of Thailand would kill the whole idea due cost of freight and duties. This project is for a 500 liter (approximately 130 gallon) compress air tank with 6mm wall thickness. With the freight and duties the cost would be the same as 1000 gallon Offset if fabricated stateside. As a BBQ pit builder I often get requests to build smokers that I've never built. Rather than searching the web and trying to decipher someone else's build, I reach out to Frank Cox here at Smokerplans.net for plans. He's a great guy and I'm not too proud to ask for his help. He's spent countless hours of research and development on all of his smokers plans. That means the drawings represent smokers that have been built and tested. To me, that's invaluable! Best of all, I can still make the build my own. So when a customer asked me to build a 24 x 48 Reverse Flow smoker with a warming cabinet, I knew Frank would have that plan in his catalog. With this plan, I can use my custom hinges, handles, thermometers, casters, and logo, etc. But, if you don't have those personal touches, he has those too! This plan is full of detail! That allows me more time in the shop, getting this build done, and less time at the "drawing board". So, whether you are a seasoned pit builder or a do-it-yourselfer building a personal pit, get in touch with Frank and save yourself tons of time!

I bought these designs by accident with the CNC DFX file, but really wanted the super GF Design. Frank and Lisa are great people and sent me the correct files. However after looking over these files, they are exactly what you need to build with hand grinders and tools. Design made so the average person can do these. You don't see that very often. He has it all laid out for you with part numbers to boot. I am in manufacturing so have access to machine shop as well as laser, waterjet and plasma if need be so the cutting will be easier for me, but you don't need these to build from his designs. I can't wait to get these plates on the waterjet and get started. I see getting the insulation is going to be the only hiccup for me. The cost for design is a great price!
